Management Team
Tom Campbell was appointed Research and Development Manager at Heathrow Airport in 1993. In 1998 Mr. Campbell formed Security Technical and Training Resources, now Technical Training Resources. In that role he uses his wealth of knowledge to produce Threat Image Projection (TIP) libraries and other Computer Based Training systems. He is retained as a Subject Expert on Security Systems by the International Civil Aviation Organization. Mr. Campbell started his career in security serving initially with the London Metropolitan and Bedfordshire Police Forces as a Scenes of Crime and Photographic Officer, he moved to Aviation Security in 1975.
Dale Carruth Prior to DataMain INTERNATIONAL Dale worked as a Program Manager for L-3 Communications, Security and Detection Systems where he worked with a number of international security agencies to customize and deploy airport security screening systems. Previously he served as an R&D Operating Manager with Agilent Technologies and Hewlett Packard, leading a team of engineers developing optical network test equipment. Mr. Carruth has also consulted to a number of technology companies to improve portfolio and project managent as well as improve product and process quality. Mr. Carruth holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from University of Massachusetts, Lowell and Project Management Professional certification from The Project Management Institute.
Bill Halkett graduated with honours from Edinburgh University in Electrical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer. Following prior activities in the commercial and defence industry, Bill has more than 20 years direct experience selling, supporting and developing advanced technology products for aviation and border security. His consultancy, Security Processes Ltd, has worked with industrial concerns, R&D enterprises and government agencies to ensure that planned, or deployed, technologies meet the essential requirements of any security system: reliability, consistency, flexibility and self secure.
Andrea Whitson was an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow in Innovation and Global Leadership at MIT's Sloan School of Management from 2007-2009. Prior to her fellowship, Andrea was the Program Manager for Sustaining Engineering for the Automated Product Line with L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems. In this capacity, Andrea supported the largest installed base of automated detection baggage screening equipment in the world. Andrea began her career in aviation security in 1998, working in the algorithm development group within R&D at Vivid Technologies, Inc. Prior to that she utilized her undergraduate research experience from the MIT Media Lab to conduct research in machine vision at the University of Texas, Medical Branch. Andrea has an interdisciplinary engineering Bachelors of Science and an MBA from MIT.
